GenesisCare Guildford is seeking a Senior Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to deliver routine and complex investigations and therapeutic procedures, working with PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging equipment in a specialist cancer care setting.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, contribute to quality assurance, and support the development of Theranostics services, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualificações

• DCR(R) or BSc (Hons) in Nuclear Medicine, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• At least three years' post-qualification experience.
• High level of competence in PET/CT and SPECT/CT scanning.
• Broad knowledge of routine and complex Nuclear Medicine imaging techniques.
• Understanding of radiation protection, QA, health and safety and clinical governance.
• IV access/venepuncture and cannulation certificate.
• Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Empathetic, patient-centred approach and proactive, flexible attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and complex Nuclear Medicine investigations and therapeutic procedures to a high clinical standard.
• Undertake PET/CT and SPECT/CT scanning, ensuring imaging quality meets departmental requirements.
• Carry out daily quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and contribute to QA programmes.
• Perform venepuncture and cannulation to support safe administration of radioactive substances.
• Provide clear advice and reassurance to patients and carers regarding procedures and radiation safety.
• Organise routine and urgent clinical work to support patient flow and service delivery.
• Support introduction of new procedures and Theranostics developments.
• Work with departmental protocols and radiation protection policies.
