Job summary

GenesisCare Guildford is seeking a Senior Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to deliver routine and complex Nuclear Medicine investigations and therapeutic procedures. You will work with PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care, while supporting QA and governance in a specialist cancer care environment.

This centre-based, full-time role offers excellent work-life balance with no weekend or late-evening shifts.

Qualifications

• DCR(R) or BSc (Hons) in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Proficient in PET/CT and SPECT/CT imaging.
• Knowledge of radiation protection, QA, safety and governance.
• CPD ongoing and documented development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex Nuclear Medicine investigations and therapies to a high standard.
• Carry out PET/CT and SPECT/CT scans meeting department QA requirements.
• Perform QA checks on imaging equipment and contribute to QA programme.
• Venepuncture and cannulation for safe administration of radioactive substances.
• Advise patients and carers on procedures, materials and safety.
• Organise clinical work to support patient flow and service delivery.
• Support introduction of new procedures and Theranostics developments.
• Maintain professional knowledge and participate in governance and safety.
