Job summary

GenesisCare is seeking a Lead Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to run the PET/CT, nuclear medicine and diagnostic CT department at its outpatient centre. The role includes leading the team, delivering theranostic treatments such as Lu-PSMA and Radium-223, and driving service development in a growing programme.

You will work closely with consultants, physicists, pharmacists and clinical staff, ensuring HCPC registration and a minimum of five years' post-qualification nuclear medicine experience

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and at least five years' post-qualification nuclear medicine experience.
• BSc (Hons) in Radiography.
• MSc in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the PET/CT, nuclear medicine and diagnostic CT department.
• Coordinate the safe and effective delivery of theranostic treatments, including Lu-PSMA and Radium-223.
• Lead, motivate and develop senior PET/CT radiographers through coaching and performance reviews.
• Work with consultants, physicists, pharmacists, nurses and clinical teams to deliver patient care.
• Support service development, including new clinical pathways and expansion of diagnostic and theranostic services.
• Maintain compliance with HCPC, IR(ME)R, IRR, ARSAC, CQC and health and safety standards.
• Support clinical research and imaging requirements for clinical trials.
• Champion quality improvement, governance and radiation safety across the department.
