Assystem is seeking a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the Nuclear New Build programme at Hinkley Point in Somerset. You will oversee MEP design for ancillary buildings, coordinating with external consultants and contractors to meet NNB requirements.

The role requires coordination, design management, and strong communication in a highly regulated environment. Hybrid working in the UK offers exposure to major nuclear projects and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in project coordination and design management.
• Experience in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated sectors.
• Knowledge of building regulations.
• English fluency; French desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the specification for new buildings and prepare technical specifications.
• Aid bidders' technical assessments and liaise with stakeholders.
• Oversee the design of Building Services and manage interfaces.
• Support commissioning, construction, and change control activities.
• Apply QA processes and manage design changes and non-conformances.
