Job summary

Amentum seeks a Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the Ancillary Works Team on the Hinkley Point C project. You will oversee MEP design across external consultants and contractors to meet NNB requirements, contributing to multiple buildings from concept to near-completion.

The role requires experience in building services, design coordination, and knowledge of CIBSE and RIBA work stages. On-site work at a major nuclear site offers challenging, rewarding opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical building services engineering for large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of building services coordination and MEP design.
• Familiarity with RIBA plan of work and CIBSE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications for consultants and contractors.
• Contribute to bidders’ technical assessment.
• Liaise with stakeholders across specification, procurement, design, construction and maintenance.
• Oversee design activities and assure QA processes are followed.
• Support design reviews and manage design changes and non-conformances.
