Job summary

Day Lewis is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Network Engineer to become Head of Infrastructure Engineering, Networks & Operations in the United Kingdom. You will lead enterprise DC/DR/branch networks, drive security architecture, and manage a high‑performing technical team.

You will interact with UK leadership and vendors to modernise and secure critical healthcare operations. You will oversee network and security infrastructure, coordinate major incidents, and guide architecture decisions

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of enterprise networking experience.
• Hands-on L3 troubleshooting across data center, DR and branch networks.
• Strong knowledge of data center, WAN, routing and security.
• Experience leading technical teams and vendors in large environments.

Responsibilities

• Data Center & Enterprise Network: design, implement, manage DC/DR/Branch networks with high availability.
• Network Security: deploy and manage firewalls, VPNs, segmentation and security controls.
• DLP & security tech: oversight of IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP integration and hardening.
• Branch & WAN: connect large branch offices with MPLS, SD‑WAN, Internet and VPN.
• Cloud & Hybrid: connectivity between on‑prem and cloud, with DSGN for secure hybrid networks.
• Team & Vendor Management: lead engineers, manage vendors, ensure incident RCA and improvements.
• Projects & Architecture: drive network modernization, SD‑WAN, DR drills and changes per ITIL.
