Job summary

NTT DATA UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Networking TS Systems Integration Specialist/Technical Lead to expertly design, implement and support complex network and security solutions. You will produce professional design artifacts and contribute to PoC, verification and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing.
• Professional level networking certifications (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/F5/CCIE/JNCIE/ACMP).
• Cisco DevNet certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and hands-on implementation of complex, multi-vendor network and security solutions.
• Produce High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation for review and sign-off.
• Develop detailed implementation plans and change records with minimal operational risk.
• Author runbooks to support handover to operations and support teams.
• Perform design validation, PoC testing and pre/post-implementation verification.
• Configure, deploy, and optimise network and security infrastructure across vendors.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network and security incidents with expert escalation support.
• Conduct capacity planning and risk assessments; escalate if needed.
• Coordinate engineers and technicians to meet performance targets and quality.
• Act as primary technical point of contact for stakeholders across projects.
• Coach and mentor junior Implementation Engineers and Technicians.
• Present technical designs and strategies to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, client network/security teams and operations.
• Manage scope and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage vendors for escalations and bug fixes during deployments.
