Job summary

UK Health Security Agency seeks a Senior Specialist Engineer - Networks in Liverpool to lead design, deployment and resilience of the network estate. You will act as a technical authority during major incidents and work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, available, high-performance services.

The role combines architecture leadership with hands-on guidance, developing high and low level designs and training colleagues to enhance network capability across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise network architecture and incident management.
• Ability to produce High Level Designs (HLD) and Low Level Designs (LLD).
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve complex incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain understanding of the network architecture across the estate.
• Act as primary network authority during major incidents, coordinating resolution.
• Develop and maintain HLDs, LLDs and As-Built records for networks.
• Provide guidance and training to improve services for end users.
