Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Network Engineer in Birmingham to join a global team delivering complex network infrastructures. The role covers firewall security management, troubleshooting, and scalable LAN/WAN deployments across multi-site environments.

You will work on design and deployment projects, with emphasis on security, routing, switching and cloud-related network services. UK government clearance is a stated requirement for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing design, build and deployments with security and configuration changes.
• Join Accenture Technology and work across public and private cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of firewall configurations and security policy management.
• Hands-on experience with multi-vendor network devices and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage firewall security and troubleshoot network incidents including routing, switching and security.
• Build, configure and maintain network infrastructures per best practices.
• Identify service improvements to reduce risk and improve stability.
• Produce high quality implementation scripts, test plans and change controls.
