Job summary

Accenture in Birmingham is seeking a Network Engineer to support design, deployment and management of secure network infrastructures. You will manage firewall security, troubleshoot connectivity, and implement robust network solutions across LAN/WAN environments.

The role may involve client-site work and centre-based delivery. Key skills include firewall configuration, knowledge of EIGRP/BGP/OSPF, VPN solutions, and hands-on experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto and Cisco/Juniper devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in BAU and project implementations including design, build, deployment, troubleshooting, security and config changes.

Responsibilities

• Manage firewall security and troubleshoot network connectivity incidents.
• Build, configure and maintain network infrastructures per best practices.
• Identify service improvements to reduce risk and improve stability.
• Produce high-quality implementation scripts, test plans and change controls for network changes.
• Undertake trainings and certifications on latest technologies.
