Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Network Engineer to manage firewall security, troubleshoot connectivity, and maintain complex LAN/WAN environments in Birmingham. The role covers design, build and deployment including security configurations and vendor device management.

You will work on coordinating network changes, creating implementation scripts, and contributing to change controls while pursuing relevant certifications and training to stay current with tech advances.

Qualifications

• Experience with firewall systems and security policy management.
• Knowledge of routing protocols EIGRP/BGP/OSPF and IP multicast.
• Experience administering LAN/WAN environments and vendor devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage firewall security and troubleshoot network incidents.
• Build, configure and maintain network infrastructures per best practices.
• Produce high quality implementation scripts, test plans and change controls.
• Identify service improvements to reduce risk and improve stability.
• Undertake trainings and certifications on latest technologies.
