Accenture in Birmingham is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy and support scalable enterprise networks across multi-client environments. You will work with LAN/WAN, firewall rules and security policies, and contribute to semi-annual refresh projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper devices, Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, load balancers, VPNs and cloud networking in AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of network security including firewall configuration and security policy management.
• Experience with routing, switching and security protocols and multi-vendor environments.
• Experience with public and private cloud networking and data centre networking.

Responsabilités

• Manage firewall security.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity incidents including routing, switching and security.
• Build, configure and maintain network infrastructures per best practices.
• Identify service improvements to reduce risk and improve stability.
• Produce high quality implementation scripts, test plans and change controls for network changes.
• Undertake trainings and certifications on latest technologies.
