Job summary

Telefónica Tech UK&I in the United Kingdom is seeking an L3 Network Engineer to manage and support datacentre network infrastructure and perimeter security. You will maintain configurations, diagrams and inventories while coordinating with internal teams and third-party partners.

Qualifications

• Experience managing datacentre network infrastructure.
• Experience with perimeter security systems.
• Ability to document network configurations and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Support datacentre network and security infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/Firewalls/Application/VPN, Delivery Controllers).
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain performance.
• Optimize network infrastructure for maximum performance and scalability.
• Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and inventory records.
• Day-to-day patching, maintenance and operation in secure environments.
• Continual improvement of systems to meet changing demands.
• Liaise with internal departments and coordinate with 3rd party suppliers and partners.
