Job summary

Telefónica Tech UK&I is seeking an experienced Level 3 Linux Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance critical Linux environments. You will troubleshoot complex issues and lead the delivery of high-impact projects to ensure reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize security, scalability, and efficiency of Linux-based systems, while guiding and mentoring junior engineers and aligning with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise with Linux operating systems and environments.
• Experience with VMware, AD, DHCP, DNS, PKI, backups, Citrix, storage, and data center concepts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex Linux environments and ensure reliability.
• Lead delivery of high-impact Linux projects and initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to the wider team.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and Project Teams to deploy new services and upgrades.
