Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited is seeking a Senior Storage & Backup Infrastructure Engineer on a 12-month contract in Newport, with 3 days on-site per week. The role focuses on technical design, implementation, and high-level support for mission-critical storage and backup infrastructure.

You will own enterprise storage architecture, drive pre-sales scoping, and lead small technical teams to deliver projects on time, while ensuring robust operational support in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing NetApp storage solutions in enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of SAN environments, performance tuning and optimization.
• Extensive background in large-scale infrastructure management and data governance.
• Experience working through project lifecycles with solid documentation skills.
• Proven track record leading small technical teams to deliver tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Scoping: Collaborate with stakeholders to scope technical solutions and estimate resources.
• Storage & Environment Administration: Manage storage, SAN, access controls, and security.
• Integration & Evaluation: Test and integrate new hardware/software into the program.
• SLA-Driven Support: Provide second-line support within a strict SLA framework.
• Team Leadership: Mentor small technical teams to deliver tasks on time and within scope.
