Job summary

I Love My Job Ltd is seeking a Senior National Account Manager to drive growth across UK and Irish retail, with a strong focus on new business and developing secured accounts. Based in Hertfordshire with hybrid working (2 days in office), you will build relationships with retailers, lead negotiations to launch ranges, and manage ongoing commercial development across grocery and other channels.

Qualifications

Strong track record of selling to UK national retailers.
Experience taking accounts through to launch.
Existing relationships with retail buyers and commercial contacts.
Experience across Grocery or other major retail channels.
Understanding of retail economics: ranging, pricing, margins and terms.

Responsibilities

Retailer acquisition: Research and qualify prospective national retailers across the UK and Ireland; Develop a clear approach for priority customers; Establish relationships with buyers; Present product and brand propositions; Manage negotiations through launch; Attend buyer meetings and industry events.
Growing the accounts you win: Develop relationships beyond the initial buyer contact; Agree account plans and priorities; Review performance and take actions if sales are behind; Develop longer-term plans with key customers.
Financial management: Prepare annual budgets and forecasts; Negotiate pricing, margins, volumes, promotions and terms; Ensure customer commitments are delivered operationally.
