Job summary

A leading Food Manufacturer in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Commercial Manager / National Account Manager with Grocery/Retailer experience to drive profitable growth through strategic account management and strong commercial execution. You will report to the Sales Director and lead major retailer partnerships, delivering sales and margin targets while guiding joint business plans and negotiations.

Qualifications

Proven track record in delivering profitable sales growth through account management and commercial execution.
Experience in Grocery/Retailer account management and joint business planning.
Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop a major Retailer/Grocery account with a portfolio around £70M.
Deliver sales, volume and margin targets through effective account planning.
Build relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts and annual agreements.
Develop and execute joint business plans with customers.
Analyse sales performance, market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities.
Work with NPD, Finance and Supply Chain teams to meet customer requirements and launches.
Provide accurate forecasting and market insight to support planning.
