Job summary

D R Newitt & Associates is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager / National Account Manager for a leading food manufacturer in the UK. You will manage a major Retailer/Grocery account (~70M portfolio) and drive profitable growth through strategic account planning and strong commercial execution.

Reporting to Sales Director, you will negotiate contracts, develop joint business plans, and collaborate with NPD, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver product launches and market insights.

Qualifications

Senior-level NAM with proven grocery/retailer account management experience.
Track record in delivering sales growth and profitable targets.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow a major Retailer/Grocery account (~70M portfolio).
Deliver sales, volume and margin targets via account planning.
Build relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
Identify and secure new business within existing and prospective accounts.
Lead pricing, contracts and annual agreements negotiations.
Develop and execute joint business plans with customers.
Analyze sales performance and market trends to spot growth.
Collaborate with NPD, Finance and Supply Chain to meet needs and launches.
Provide accurate forecasting and market insight for planning.
