Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join a leading bakery manufacturer specializing in mid-high end products for the Foodservice sector. This role involves managing and developing relationships with major chain end users across the UK, including hotels, restaurants, and pub groups.

Our internationally renowned bakery manufacturing company has built a reputation for quality and excellent service. Our diverse product range allows us to serve various clients within the Foodservice sector, including hospitality establishments such as hotels, restaurants, leisure, and casual dining venues. Our UK division has experienced recent growth driven by product innovation and a skilled commercial team.
The Role:
This position is a key part of our commercial team, focusing on developing relationships with major Foodservice clients and tendering for new business. You will inherit a portfolio of accounts and be responsible for negotiating terms, pricing, and service levels at the buyer level on a national basis. The role involves tendering for listings, potential NPD involvement, and acquiring new clients in the hospitality sector. It is a home-based role requiring a high degree of autonomy and independence.
The Candidate:
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in Foodservice National Accounts, particularly working with major hospitality and Foodservice end-user chains. Experience in Foodservice manufacturing is preferred, but candidates with strong end-user experience at the National Account level within Foodservice wholesale will also be considered. Experience in the bakery category is advantageous but not essential. Candidates must be self-starters capable of working independently in a home-based environment.
