Job summary

Bite Talent is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own a portfolio of London restaurants. This senior, field-based role demands autonomy, accountability and a proven ability to lead multiple restaurant teams to deliver strong commercial performance.

You will coach Restaurant Managers, shape operational plans, manage budgets and supplier relationships, and ensure standards and training across locations. Regular travel across the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the restaurant/retail sector at senior level.
• Proven multi‑unit restaurant leadership experience across a territory.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing sales, costs, budgets and profitability.
• Track record of leading and developing high‑performing management teams.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills; able to balance strategic thinking with execution.
• Willingness to travel regularly; valid driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial performance, forecasting, budgeting and profitability across the portfolio.
• Build and execute operational plans across multiple locations.
• Review performance, identify opportunities to improve sales and productivity.
• Lead, coach and develop Restaurant Managers and senior leaders.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure standards and training across sites.
• Conduct regular visits and audits, implementing improvements where needed.
• Collaborate with marketing, recruitment and training teams to support growth.
