Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an MSP Field Engineer to support clients across various industries, combining on-site technical support with project work and infrastructure maintenance.

You will deliver hands-on IT support, attend client sites, manage incidents, and communicate with customers while solving networking and server problems. The role includes building/deploying client images and contributing to proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards required (mandatory)
• Microsoft 365 expertise covering Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive (mandatory)
• Experience with Intune, RMM platforms and telephone systems
• Strong networking knowledge: routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with Group Policy and security configuration
• Azure knowledge and experience administering Azure solutions
• Windows 10/11 and Mac familiarity
• Experience preparing and deploying client builds/images

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support to a broad client base.
• Attend customer sites as required.
• Manage incidents through the support system.
• Maintain regular communication with customers.
• Troubleshoot networking and server issues.
• Install and support hardware and software.
• Escalate service-impacting issues appropriately.
• Monitor customer systems and generate reports.
• Maintain ticketing records and technical notes.
• Support critical incidents and planned maintenance.
