Qualifications

• Experience in MSP/IT consultancy environments.
• Hands-on across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Azure.
• Grounding in Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V/VMware, firewalls, routing and switching.
• Ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in certifications and staying current.
• Valid UK driving licence for occasional site visits.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops and site audits, translate findings into designs, proposals, and SOWs.
• Lead end-to-end projects across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking and security.
• Handle on-prem and hybrid infrastructure: Windows Server, AD, VMware/Hyper-V, storage.
• Act as final technical escalation point for critical incidents with root-cause analysis.
• Mentor 1st–3rd line engineers to strengthen the wider team.
• Maintain certifications and protect the company's Microsoft Partner status.
