ASOS is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the Search & Recommendations team, building scalable ML systems that help millions of shoppers discover products. You will design, deploy and operate production ML models for ranking, search and personalization, collaborating with Applied Scientists, ML Engineers and Software Engineers to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying ML models in production environments.
• Experience with distributed training and GPU-based training environments.
• Strong software engineering and MLOps practices.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production ML systems for search, ranking and recommendation.
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers and PMs.
• Deploy and maintain batch and real-time ML models in production.
• Contribute to recommender and personalization capabilities handling millions of interactions.
• Improve systems and engineering practices and contribute new features.
• Mentor other engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Shape the team's technical direction and ML standards.
