Job summary

ASOS is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its Search & Recommendations team, building ML systems that help millions of customers discover products daily.

You will work on large-scale ML models powering Similar Items, People Also Viewed and personalised journeys, applying signals from millions of interactions and cutting-edge AI tech to connect customers with products they love.

Qualifications

• Experience applying ML and deep learning techniques in production environments.
• Experience building and deploying large-scale ML models with distributed computing.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and familiarity with MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production ML systems powering search, ranking and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists and engineers to deploy ML solutions with measurable value.
• Build, deploy and maintain batch and real-time ML models in production environments.
• Contribute to recommendation, ranking and personalization capabilities handling millions of interactions daily.
• Improve systems, codebase and engineering practices while proposing new features.
