Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy in Bristol or Portsmouth is seeking a Senior Consultant in Mission Engineering & Operational Analysis to lead delivery of projects and help grow our services. The role sits hybrid with a focus on applied analysis for defence and national security.

You will work with military subject matter experts, analysts and engineers to develop scenarios, analytical frameworks and evidence-based recommendations while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analytical/operational/engineering or experimentation activities within Defence, National Security or similarly complex domains.
• Experience working directly with customers and military subject matter experts to understand challenges and develop scenarios and analytical frameworks.
• Experience designing analytical methods, delivery plans and assurance activities to meet decision-making requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Mission Engineering projects and mentor others to grow capability.
• Develop new business opportunities using consultancy skills and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with customers, military SMEs, analysts and engineers to apply structured analytical approaches.
• Manage day-to-day delivery activities and become a trusted lead for Mission Engineering tasks.
