Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join its team. You will work on high-profile programmes across defence, government, energy and infrastructure, applying systems thinking to shape requirements, architectures and delivery.

You will lead client interactions, manage complexity, and provide technical leadership while developing colleagues across the capability. You will navigate ambiguity, communicate with stakeholders at all levels and translate complex concepts

Qualifications

• Experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role in complex environments.
• Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
• Experience in requirements engineering, architecture development, integration and verification & validation.
• Effective stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience with client-facing consultancy engagements and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; independent and multitasking capabilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CiSSP, CISM, MCSE, CCNA, AWS) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver systems engineering across the lifecycle from concept to delivery and validation.
• Lead requirements capture, stakeholder engagement and business analysis for complex programmes.
• Develop and maintain system architectures, concepts and engineering approaches.
• Provide technical leadership on digital systems, acquisition and capability development.
• Facilitate workshops and advise senior client stakeholders.
• Identify and manage technical, programme and business risks; provide assurance of designs.
• Support clients in applying best-practice systems governance and delivery.
