Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking a Systems Engineering Consultant to deliver consultancy on systems engineering, digital modelling, and solution architecture. The role involves stakeholder engagement to shape solutions and maintain client relationships across projects for BAE Systems.

The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering and experience in MBSE tools, lifecycle processes, and requirements management, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in a Systems Engineering related role.
• Experience with MBSE in Cameo, Enterprise Architect or Rhapsody.
• Understanding of engineering processes and lifecycles (ISO 15288).
• Experience with Systems Engineering requirements management tools (IBM DOORS, DOORS Next).
• Strong problem-solving abilities; good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultancy on systems engineering challenges, digital modelling, and solution architecture.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, define problems, and shape solutions that align with objectives.
• Develop and maintain client relationships for long-term collaboration and advisory support.
• Support bids and proposals with technically credible, commercially viable solutions.
• Oversee requirements engineering, verification & validation, and system integration.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to align engineering and business goals.
