Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is recruiting a senior RF engineer for microwave circuits and EW subsystems. You will design, simulate and test high‑frequency circuits and contribute across prototyping, integration and verification stages.

Expect hands‑on RF testing, collaboration in an Integrated Project Team, and oversight of design reviews with customers and partners. A path to principal engineer is possible as expertise grows.

Qualifications

• Proven RF/microwave circuitry experience in electronic systems.
• Understanding of microwave theory, HF effects and layout practice.
• Hands-on RF test experience with analysers and sources.
• Ability to debug hardware/test setups and report results.
• Experience interfacing with customers, suppliers or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop microwave/RF circuits above 20GHz for EW self‑protection systems.
• Contribute to RF subsystems from prototyping to test.
• Simulate, model and optimize using EM and circuit tools.
• Perform RF test, measurement and debug in lab facilities.
• Engage in design reviews and technical discussions with stakeholders.
• Balance performance, power, reliability and manufacturability.
