Job summary

Ferrovial Construction at Heathrow Airport is seeking an experienced MEP Section Engineer to lead a section of construction works, delivering projects to the highest health, safety and quality standards while aligning with the client’s programme and commercial objectives.

You will supervise subcontractors and site teams, coordinate with the commercial, design and civil/MEP teams, review drawings and ITPs, develop short-term programmes, maintain precise records, and foster strong relationships

Qualifications

• Experience supervising MEP engineering teams on infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple work packages and schedules.
• Knowledge of RAMS and construction methodologies.
• Strong documentation and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Supervise subcontractors, site engineers and workforce per RAMS and methods.
• Review and verify setting out activities for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor MEP engineers and ensure technical quality and inspections.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, surveys and site diaries.
• Attend and chair coordination meetings with stakeholders and teams.
• Ensure drawings, specs and 3D model information are complete and correctly issued.
• Develop short-term programmes (2–4 weeks) with subcontractors and suppliers.
