Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Civils Section Engineer to lead a section of Heathrow Airport works, delivering complex civil infrastructure with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

You will work with Commercial, Site Engineers and Stakeholders to ensure projects stay on programme, manage RAMS and ITPs, and mentor engineers while maintaining accurate records and drawings for construction.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or engineering management experience in civil projects.
• Strong construction methodologies and civil engineering principles.
• Commercial awareness and contract administration knowledge.
• Experience managing budgets, programmes and resources.
• Effective leadership and stakeholder management.
• CSCS card holder.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a civils works section, ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Site Engineers, Surveyors and stakeholders.
• Review setting-out and ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Maintain construction records and RAMS; mentor engineers.
• Develop and monitor short-term programmes with subcontractors.
• Prepare method statements, ITPs and document control.
