Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking a Civils Section Engineer to lead a section of works at Heathrow Airport. The role focuses on delivering safety‑critical civil packages on time and to spec, while coordinating with the commercial team, site engineers and subcontractors.

You will monitor progress, maintain robust records, and drive quality through inspections, ITPs and method statements, ensuring compliance and value. A CSCS and relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil engineering works on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong focus on health, safety, and quality standards.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work packages and teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and environmental compliance across worksites.
• Supervise subcontractors, site engineers and workforce ensuring RAMS adherence.
• Review setting-out, quality records and site diaries for accuracy.
• Mentor engineers and ensure effective testing, inspections and briefings.
• Maintain construction documentation and ITPs, and manage procurement records.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, and suppliers to meet programme goals.
