Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Building Services Mechanical Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary MEP team across London and Bristol, with on-site support for defence projects. You will drive mechanical design from concept to detailed design and coordinate with architects and civil engineers.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status, on-site presence when needed, and a proactive approach to client relations, bid support, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status with IMechE, CIBSE or equivalent professional body.
• Proven experience delivering mechanical design in built environment projects.
• Experience leading mechanical teams and coordinating with other disciplines.
• Experience in work-winning and bid support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical design for major projects from concept through to detailed design.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with architects and civil engineers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Lead and contribute to business development and bid leadership.
