Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd in Bristol seeks an experienced MEP Manager to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing coordination on a major defence and advanced manufacturing project. You will work with the Project Director, design teams and subcontractors to integrate services into the wider construction programme.

This role requires strong leadership, a proven track record managing large MEP packages for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and a proactive approach to safety, quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating building services (MEP) on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations across the project.
• Oversee specialist MEP subcontractors, ensuring safety, programme and specification compliance.
• Review technical information with design teams to resolve coordination issues and improve buildability.
• Manage MEP procurement, installation sequencing and interfaces with structure and architecture.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement delivery solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, validation and handover of building services.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the project team.
