Job summary

Care in Mind is recruiting a Mental Health Senior Support Worker for our Preston home. You will support young people with their wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills, while managing incidents and de-escalation of behaviours.

You will update online records, administer medications and hand over to day staff, ensuring a tidy, welcoming home. Although the role includes night shifts, you will have support from another night worker or a sleep-in and on-call manager.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is not essential and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills.
• Handle incident management and de-escalation of challenging behaviours.
• Update online care records and complete medication administration.
• Provide effective handovers to day staff and maintain a clean, homely environment.
