Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma level or degree in a health/social care profession (e.g. RMN, OT, Social Worker).
• Current registration with NMC or HCPC and commitment to CPD.
• Substantial post-registration experience in adult mental health services.
• Experience mentoring/assessing students and learners.
• Experience in risk assessment and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Act as care coordinator and deliver defined interventions to service users and others.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate specialist therapeutic interventions (CBT, psychosocial, family, DBT).
• Develop and maintain crisis and risk management plans with service users and carers.
• Collaborate with primary care, inpatient and voluntary services, and provide supervision to colleagues.
