Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Senior MEICA Manager for the United Utilities Framework in the North West of England. You will lead MEICA activities across feasibility, design, construction and commissioning, collaborating with design teams, contractors and stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant projects.

The role requires strong MEICA experience within utilities, with delivery of water or wastewater infrastructure and a solid grasp of ICA and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Delivery on water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical understanding across mechanical, electrical, ICA and commissioning activities.
• Ability to engage with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading MEICA input throughout feasibility, design, construction and commissioning phases.
• Reviewing mechanical and electrical requirements and identifying technical risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Coordinating and managing MEICA consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, safety, programme and commercial targets are achieved.
• Providing technical guidance and support to project teams across all MEICA disciplines.
• Ensuring designs, installations and commissioning activities are compliant with industry standards, client specifications and statutory regulations.

We're looking for a Senior MEICA Manager to join our United Utilities Framework based in the North West of England.

Location: North West of England

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Senior MEICA Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation solutions across our water projects. Working collaboratively with design teams, contractors and operational stakeholders, you'll provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of MEICA activities on major infrastructure projects whilst driving innovation and supporting sustainable outcomes for the communities we serve.

What will you be responsible for?
