This role is key in providing secretarial and administrative support to our eight Consultant Histopathologists and Senior Laboratory staff.
The department reports surgical histology cases, cytology samples, supports 33 clinicopathological meetings per month, providing a cellular pathology service to hospital clinicians and GPs in BaNES, Wiltshire and Somerset.

This role could be perfect for a medical secretary who is looking for career progression and who is keen to learn, whilst being fully supported through our in-house training programme.
We are looking for an individual who has great organisational and IT skills with the experience of being able to meet tight and varying deadlines and the ability to communicate effectively. You will need to possess accurate audio-typing skills and preferably have a knowledge of medical terminology.
