Job summary

Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of high-impact, capital engineering projects from concept to field deployment across the UK. You will lead advanced system design, mentor the core team, and govern critical documentation including P&IDs, drawings and BOMs.

In this flat, fast-paced environment you will drive supplier data, perform equipment selection for pumps and valves, and support commercial proposals with precise cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Academic Foundation: A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record of engineering success in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid process industries.
• Professional attributes: organized, self-directed, strong problem-solving, and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design lifecycle of multi-million-pound treatment systems as the technical anchor.
• Mentor and develop core engineering team to exceed performance expectations.
• Governance: review and approve critical project documents (P&IDs, drawings, schematics, BOM).
• Select high-performance equipment including pumps, valves, and related components to ensure contract compliance and sales support.
• Lead strategic sourcing with vendors, initiate RFQs, and drive procurement decisions to maintain project velocity.
• Collaborate with sales to deliver accurate cost and labour estimates for proposals.
