Job summary

Envirogen Group is seeking a Senior Engineer to own the execution of capital engineering projects from concept through field deployment within the UK. You will partner with the Project Management team to translate complex challenges into high-performance water and wastewater systems.

You will lead advanced system design, mentor engineers, govern critical documents, and support commercial proposals with precise cost estimates. This role offers a flat culture and rapid professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in industrial water, wastewater or fluid processes.
• Organised, self-directed with strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system design for multi-million £ projects from concept to execution.
• Mentor and develop core engineering team and uphold technical excellence.
• Review and approve critical project docs including P&IDs, drawings and BOM.
• Select high‑performance equipment and provide cost estimates for proposals.
• Drive strategic sourcing, RFQs and vendor governance to accelerate delivery.
• Coordinate with sales to deliver accurate labour and subcontractor estimates.
