BPA, a joint venture known for hydrocarbon transport and storage solutions in the UK, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead and deliver engineering projects. You will cover studies, design, procurement, coordination, and site delivery, with potential to lead small project teams under a Project Manager.

Required is a Mechanical Engineering degree, experience in design/consultancy in energy (downstream oil & gas a plus), strong IT skills, and willingness to work on high-hazard sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) is required.
• Experience in design, project engineering, and consultancy in energy sector is preferred (downstream oil & gas advantageous).
• Computer literacy with standard office software; familiarity with project management and engineering software is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of project delivery from approval through commissioning.
• Develop technical solutions, design systems, and conduct risk assessments.
• Coordinate engineers, CAD staff, field personnel, contractors and suppliers.
• Prepare project estimates and commercial documentation, manage budgets and tenders.
• Support site delivery and commissioning activities, ensuring health & safety compliance.
