You will lead mechanical design for cell-sorting instruments, working with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive design-for-manufacture and production transfer. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) with 6–10 years of experience.
• DFM/DFA experience with injection-moulded components and assemblies.
• Experience in regulated environments or ISO 13485, change control, root-cause investigations, and design verification.
• SolidWorks 3D CAD design and engineering drawings proficiency.
• Strong GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and dimensional controls.
• Excellent technical communication and collaboration throughout cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities for current consumables, manage lifecycle updates, verify changes, and ensure smooth transfer to production.
• Lead design and development of consumables and sub-assemblies for next-gen instruments.
• Manage supplier partnerships as primary engineering lead for evaluation, design transfer, and quality verification.
• Support quality initiatives in regulated environments; lead root-cause investigations and CAPAs.
• Design, develop, and test precision mechanical, opto-mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems using SolidWorks.
