Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6–10 years' relevant experience (or 4–8 with Master's, or 2–5 with PhD).
• Experience in regulated environments and design verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical sustaining engineering for current instruments.
• Manage supplier evaluation, design transfer, and quality verification.
• Collaborate with optical physicists and electronics engineers to support alignments and tolerance stack-ups.
• Lead mechanical root-cause investigations and CAPAs.
• Provide DFM input for future instrument developments.
• Design, develop, and test precision mechanical, opto-mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems using SolidWorks.
