Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services in Warwick to lead mechanical design across medium-sized projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff. The role requires professional registration and experience in HVAC/Building Services.

You will develop design deliverables, ensure quality, and manage client relationships on diverse assignments within a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Membership of a professional engineering body (CIBSE/IEEE) and working towards chartered status.
• Experience delivering mechanical building services on medium to large projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Experience in HVAC, public health and building services design.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify all aspects of Mechanical Building Services per guidelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage client liaison, project scope, cost and quality within small to medium projects.
