Job summary

BakerHicks in London is seeking a Senior Engineer - Electrical Services to lead electrical building services design on diverse projects. The role offers ownership of delivery, interaction with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring of junior engineers in a flexible, hybrid working environment.

You will develop calculations and technical documentation, build strong client relationships, support site surveys, and contribute to bids and business development while upholding quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Electrical Building Services design experience.
• Experience delivering projects within consultancy, contractor or multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong technical design and specification writing capability.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Delivering electrical building services design on a variety of projects.
• Producing and reviewing calculations, reports, specifications and technical documentation.
• Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Supporting site surveys and construction-stage activities.
• Mentoring Engineers, Graduates and Technicians.
• Contributing to bids, proposals and business development activities.
• Ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
