Job summary

BakerHicks in London is seeking an Associate Engineer - Electrical Services to lead electrical building services design on complex projects across the built environment and defence sectors.

You will provide technical leadership, collaborate with clients and project teams, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with standards and client expectations while contributing to proposals and business growth. Security clearance may apply to certain projects in regulated sectors.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering electrical building services design.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor and develop engineers and graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across electrical building services projects from concept to completion.
• Produce and review calculations, specifications, reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal project teams.
• Support project planning, resource management and commercial delivery.
• Mentor and develop engineers and graduates within the team.
• Ensure designs meet relevant standards and client expectations.
