Job summary

Cellular Origins is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own the detailed mechanical design of critical modules within our robotic manufacturing platform. You will drive concepts from early prototypes through to manufacturing, ensuring robustness, repeatability and practical to build solutions.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams across mechanical engineering, robotics, software, systems and biology, applying tolerance analyses and material decisions to deliver reliable devices

Qualifications

• Strong engineering foundation with hands‑on experience taking products through development to manufacture.
• Experience designing precision devices across micron to millimetre scales.
• Proven ability delivering electromechanical products into manufacture.

Responsibilities

• Own the detailed mechanical design of critical modules within our robotic manufacturing platform.
• Turn concepts and prototypes into stable, manufacturable designs.
• Perform detailed tolerance analyses to understand and improve performance.
