Job summary

Cellular Origins is seeking a Test and Development Engineer to join our team near Cambridge, UK. You will work with engineers and scientists on development, integration and rigorous testing to ensure performance, reliability and compliance of our mechatronics systems.

Initially focused on development and integration of system elements, you will create test strategies, plans and protocols, run procedures and evaluate performance to drive design improvements and robust operation.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background or vocational route.
• Proven testing and verification experience with troubleshooting mechatronics systems.
• Ability to generate Test Protocols and Test Reports.
• Apply data analysis, simulation and modelling to evaluate product performance.
• Identify failure modes and conduct root-cause investigations with corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate system elements with a multidisciplinary team.
• Create test strategies, plans and protocols; run procedures and evaluate performance.
• Diagnose faults, provide feedback to design teams and propose solutions.
• Transition to formal verification, maintain traceability and write reports.
• Contribute to successful system verification and release.
