Job summary

Cellular Origins seeks a firmware engineer to join a multidisciplinary team building our core automation platform. You will design, implement and test firmware running on ARM microcontrollers, primarily STM32, and collaborate with electronics, mechanical, automation and software engineers as well as biologists.

You will develop end-to-end firmware, participate in design reviews, and help shape system decisions while writing robust, maintainable code and contributing to automated test

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering embedded firmware.
• Strong ability to own firmware end-to-end from requirements to production delivery.
• Experience with automated tests for embedded systems and CI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own firmware development for key parts of our core technology from requirements to production support.
• Write and review C/C++ for ARM microcontrollers (STM32).
• Design and maintain automated tests for embedded firmware and integrate into CI.
• Turn system needs into firmware requirements and interfaces with cross-disciplinary teams.
