Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead delivery of complex mechanical design solutions within a multi-disciplinary team. You will own packages of work, guide others through design reviews and test activities, and ensure robust design outputs across the project lifecycle.

The role requires significant experience in CAD, FEA/CFD, prototyping and verification/validation, with strong communication skills and a proactive, cost-conscious approach to engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering; or Industrial/Product Design.
• Extensive CAD experience and ability to own work packages.
• Experience creating technical drawings from 3D models and generating design concepts for critique.
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals across materials, stress, mechanisms and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design delivery and coordinate design reviews and testing.
• Guide teams in applying design thinking and value stream mapping to maximise customer value.
• Provide technical advice and present to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with regulatory and governance standards.
• Create and refine TDPs and ensure robust design outputs throughout the project lifecycle.
