Job summary
Aldwych Consulting Ltd in the UK is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Building Services team on a hybrid basis, with opportunities across diverse sectors from residential to regeneration. You will lead mechanical designs from concept through to completion, collaborating with clients and design teams to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions.

Qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong mechanical design experience in Building Services.
- Experience with AutoCAD; Revit is a plus.
- IES modelling experience desirable.
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC and mechanical and public health systems incl. calculations, specs, drawings.
- Produce drawings using AutoCAD; Revit knowledge beneficial.
- Perform energy modelling and Part L/compliance tasks.
- Complete SAP calculations and EPCs for dwellings.
- Support projects from concept to detailed design and coordination.
- Carry out site surveys and report on existing installations.
- Assist with contract administration during construction.
- Witnessing and commissioning activities during handover.
- Coordinate with clients, architects and design teams to deliver solutions.
